Grandad sadly passed away 19th December 2007. He was 81.
When I think of my Grandad I remember him for being loving, funny, always there for his family....he along with my Nan were truly the best grandparents anyone could have. They werent just my Nan and Grandad, they were my friends and I knew I could always ask them for anything if I needed it.
Another memory I have is what he used to call me..his icky bicky coo.....he always made me smile when he said that.
His death was very hard....we knew it was on the cards but still didnt want to accept it. In a comforting way though I knew that it was for the best and that he was suffering no more.....I knew he could be reunited with my loving Nan again...something I think he wanted so much as soon as she passed away.
I will always carry you in my heart Grandad wherever I go....you fought so bravely and I am so proud to have had you in my life.
We all love you and miss you so much...one thing is for sure, christmas will never be the same without you xxxxxx

How I miss you right now......
My dear Grandy, cannot describe how lost I feel right now, as it nears your birthday I cant help but think of you and how much I wish I could have one more conversation, one more cuddle, I would do anything to see you right now, you would know what to say, you always did. I just wish things were different, I love you grandy more then anything in the world and will miss you until I am with you xxx Love you forever and always xxxx

Just passing by Grandy to say Hello, what I would do to see you and Nan again, I would do anything :( Life goes on, I know that, you said that...but it doesnt get easier, sometimes my mind just wanders...I just cant believe where the time has gone and is going, how many people we have loved and lost..its so hard to think about...I often think it, one day I am going to be on my own, but knowing you will always guide me makes me smile :) I love you Grandy forever and always xxx
